ZTE Light Tab 2

The ZTE Light Tab 2 is a mid-range, light-weight, Android tablet running Gingerbread 2.3. It features a 1.4GHz processor, 7-inch touch screen, 3.2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front facing camera and 3400mAh battery. WiFi and 3G connectivity ensure that most places you go, you remain connected to the world. With Light Tab 2 you can browse your favourite websites or connect and download your emails or even sync your calendar. 4GB of internal memory allows storing music, documents and other files and it can further be expanded upto 32GB though a microSDHC memory card slot.
Specialising in affordable handsets, the company has now turned its hand to budget tablets and the result, the ZTE Light Tab 2, isn't a bad offering.
It's solidly constructed and surprisingly zippy. Unfortunately though, the ZTE Light Tab 2 is saddled with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, rather than the tablet-focused Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwich iterations. Interestingly, the ZTE Light Tab will allow you to insert a SIM card for 3G and, if you're so inclined, phone calls. At 395g the ZTE Light Tab isn't heavy, but the BlackBerry Playbook and Tablo are lighter and therefore easier to use long-term. There's a fairly thick bezel wrapped around the screen, with touch-sensitive Android buttons for Home, Menu and Back. The ZTE Light Tab 2 handles media well.

ZTE PF200

ZTE's newly announced PF200 was also on hand at MWC 2012, though, unfortunately this handset wouldn't boot up. Powered by a Qualcomm 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, running Android 4.0, with a 4.3-inch qHD display, 8 megapixel af camera, WiFi, DLNA, and even NFC.

ZTE PF200 has decided to beat the MWC 2012 bound hordes by announcing its two major new Ice Cream Sandwich handsets a little early, in the shape of the ZTE PF200 and ZTE N910.
ZTE has also unveiled another Android 4.0 LTE handset, equally lacklustre in the naming department: the ZTE N910 (pictured below).
It's lower-spec than its twin: WVGA screen, 5MP camera and a 1.2GHz processor. Clearly ZTE is looking to LTE as the headliner for its 2012 line up, as He Shiyou, executive VP and head of the terminal division of ZTE says, "These LTE devices are the fore-runners of a wide range of LTE devices ZTE will bring to the market in the coming months, and as more and more LTE networks come on stream.

ZTE Fury (Sprint)

ZTE Fury (Sprint) offers fast performance, plenty of features, and good battery life, all for less than $20. The tradeoff is a poor camera and call quality that is just okay. It's an inexpensive, reliable Android smartphone for Sprint users on a budget—just make sure to take a close look at the sale rack before buying.

The good: The ZTE Fury comes with a decent camera and a snappy internal processor, and it isn't plagued with bloatware. Also, the quality design makes it seem more expensive than you'd expect from its bargain price tag.

The bad: Despite taking passable pictures, the Fury records disappointing video, and call quality is mediocre. It's also equipped with the unpleasant customization feature Sprint ID.

The bottom line: The ZTE Fury is a great entry-level 3G phone. It comes with all the bare-bones smartphone specs you expect and it performs well. And at just 20 bucks, you can't go wrong.
