Acer Aspire One AO722-0418 Netbook is a first-rate laptop for mobile professionals, as well as students. The Aspire One 722's strikingly vibrant 11.6" HD widescreen active matrix TFT color LCD display features CineCrystal technology, a 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366 x 768 resolution. The screen is accented with LED backlight technology and supported by ATI Radeon HD 6290 graphics. The Aspire One 722 affords both wired and wireless Internet options as well. It supports LAN Ethernet through an RJ-45 port and WLAN wireless connectivity with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi compatibility. The netbook is also equipped for connecting to an external monitor or an HDTV. There's an HDMI output for viewing your computer's video content on an HDTV in up to full 1080p HD resolution. Plus, the unit has a VGA port for connecting to a larger external monitor if you need more screen space to work or play. Acer's Aspire One 722 was also designed with three USB 2.0 data ports for connecting USB devices and external USB drives.
Acer has adorned the Aspire One 722 with several functional tools as well. The keyboard features a multi-gesture touchpad, which acts like an enhanced mouse that supports multiple finger gestures - all of which make navigating the Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) OS and the Internet faster and more intuitive. Plus, for listening to music and watching movies, the Aspire One 722 has built-in stereo speakers, as well as a headphone jack for privacy. The netbook is also equipped with a webcam and microphone for videoconferencing and chatting with friends. Acer even designed the Aspire One 722 to be Energy Star compliant. Plus, it comes with a 4400mAh capacity 6-cell lithium-ion rechargeable battery that has a maximum run-time of seven hours - making it great for work, play and travel.
